The latest rumor to come out that actually has some credence is BSU moving to the Big East, as a football member only. I don't know how I feel about this. If the Big East can actually stabilizes it's self then I think it good be a good move.
I'd prefer to move to the Big 12, but that seems less likely, unless BYU and Boise move into it together, and from what I've been hearing that may not be likely.

I'm all for it as long as the Big East can get its act together and make sure that half the league doesn't leave after we join. Already been there done that.

Who knows at this point, you've been mention as joining every conference. The PAC-12 would be the most ideal, but unlikely. I'll believe an invited when we get it.

If Louisville stays and so does West Virgina then it would be too big of an opportunity to not take, if they leave then we should stay put, because the Big East would lose their AQ status and would be in the same boat, just traveling across country instead.

One big problem I can see coming up if we get an invite and don't take it.
"See, we tried to give you guys a chance at the big boys and you turned it down"
It is also really odd that we have been the pain in the b-- team that keeps pounding at their door and they just wanted us to go away. Now we are needed (according to College Football Live today) to save their AQ status.

Well we've been invited to join the Big East, but there are now reports that BSU may not accept according to ESPN. Who knows what's really going on, they've changed their story about 10 times now.

Bob Kustra said that the 2 main things they will look for in a conference is TV money and an AQ bid. The Big East has two of those right now and the MWC has none. Looks like BSU will probably be on the move.

Sounds like it will happen by this Friday. I believe this will be like the MWC was when we first joined and thought it would be a stellar football conference and then everyone left.

BYU will make more money as an independent which leads me to believe they will stay independent.
